How much is the horsebox to hire?
Half-day self-drive hire is £70 and full-day self-drive hire is £115. Full-day hire with a driver is £175, subject to availability.
Can I hire the horsebox for longer than one day?
Yes, longer hires may be available if the horsebox is free. Please get in touch with your preferred dates and journey details so we can discuss the options and agree a price.
How many miles are included?
Half-day hire includes 100 miles and full-day hire includes 200 miles. Additional mileage is charged at £0.50 per mile.
Who can drive the horsebox?
Every driver must be aged between 23 and 75, have held a full UK driving licence for at least two years and meet the insurer’s licence, health and eligibility requirements. Driver approval is confirmed before the booking is accepted.
Can I hire the horsebox with a driver?
Yes. Full-day hire with a driver is available for £175, subject to availability. Please contact us with your date, destination and horse details so we can confirm what is possible.
Can an anti-rearing travel harness be supplied?
An Equi Travel Safe anti-rearing travel harness can be supplied on request for an additional charge, subject to availability. Please mention this when booking so we can check it for your date.
What are the cancellation terms?
Full payment is required when booking. Cancellations made at least seven clear days before the hire date receive a full refund. Cancellations made three to six clear days before the hire date are subject to a £50 cancellation charge, with the remaining balance refunded. Cancellations made fewer than three clear days before the hire date are non-refundable. If we are able to rebook the date, we will review the charge and refund any amount not needed to cover our reasonable losses and administration. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Collection is from Cobham. Exact details are provided after the booking is approved.
